Game Review # 11

DANNY PHANTOM : THE ULTIMATE ENEMY

Regular high school student by day, super duper gjhost-buster by night. That's the kind of double life Danny Fenton leads. Do you ever wonder what it's like to have phantom powers? Find it out in "Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy", where you can rustle up some ectoplasmic baddies in this awesome beat em' up based on the cartoon.

The game graphics looks just like it does on TV! Maybe a little too much. The spirit of the cartoon's art style is alive and well, but for an action game it could use a bit more pizzas. Other than that, your favorite characters are here in all their colorful Nicktoon glory, and the cutscenes look extra sweet too!
Danny Phantom is a very straight forward beat- em' up. This means that, although most will enjoy the quick and easy one button combo system, experienced gamers might look for more frills. You can mix it up, though Danny's special moves, powered by an auto-leveling system.

The sounds are just about right for an action/adventure beat-em-up, and gamers are in for a lot of punches, blasts, and grunts. The music is a little weak, but it isn't that bad. Fans may even recognize some tunes from the cartoon series.

When you have played through the story line and collected Danny's amazing phantom-powers, that's about it for this game. But it's still a great game to play in short burst, especially if nothing cheers you up better than sending ghastly ghoulies back to where they came from.
It may not be the loudest game or have the whole lot of sound effects, but Danny Phantom makes up for it in a lot of different ways. The graphics are simple yet effective and true to the cartoon. And of course, the most important thing is, it's fun! In Danny's world, not seeing is believing, but in this case: see it, believe it and play it!

I-NINJA ~ GBA VERSION
http://wallpapers.latestscreens.com/makeThumb.php?dir=1024x768&game=ininja&file=ininja-02.jpg
For a GBA conversion, this game is fantastic! It captures the 3D visuals of its bigger console version perfectly, which is quite rare in all GBA Games. Although it's a bit cartoonish compare to its big brothers, this game still looks impressive on the small screen. You still get the same inertia-levels as before, where ninja, the brave blue-suited hero of the game, travels though elevated platforms that speed him up as he goes along. You'll spend a great part of the game mastering these levels, but they're really the most fun part of the game. Some of the interesting puzzleswe've seen before are here as well, which makes this game more challenging.

The background music is the mixture of funky and oriental music that really complements the martial art type battles. Ninja's cute battle taunts are fun as well. There's really not much you can do with this game after you're done, as it has no multiplayer offering with your GBA'a link up cables. But it's lenghtly enough for the first go. On a whole, it got everything we loved about I-Ninja~ in portable size.

HARVEST MOON ~ GAMEBOY

Since this game is a rehash of the older Harvest Moon title, the graphics of the game can look a little dated. But they're just right for this sort of game, and the cute(and often comical) facial expressions on the characters and animals will definitely win you over.

It is also cool how the game manages to go from day to night and even from season to season pretty convincingly.
A farmer's duties are varied enough to keep you from getting bored. Managing your farm involves making your farm prosper, tending your crops, caring for the land, watering the soil, gathering resources, feeding the animals, selling vegetables and dairy products and doing other farming chores. Harvest moon also has an RPG element that lets you interact with the villagers, who have their own stories to tell and advice to give. As the villagers go about their business, you can drop by regularly-scheduled activities in the community, and even get married along the way!

Sound:
Unavoidable in any game simulation game is the repetitive background music, but in this game it's actually quite pleasant and soothing while you're hard at work on the farm.

Being a sim game, the way the game ends depends on you and how easily you get bored. The main goal is to improve life on your farm. As long as there is something that needs to be done on your land, you can keep coming back to work on it. And there are tons to do in Harvest Moon. If you get sick of tending to your crops and animals, you can always head to town and mingle with the townsfolk instead. The possibilities are endless!!

If you're tired of the usual hack-and-theslashers and want a different kind of challenge, give this game a try!
