Ever wonder what the inside of your stomach or the chambers of your heart look like? Find it out with the help of the world’s smallest camera sensor.

Developed by leading cameraphone chipmaker Omnivision OV6920 CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) measures a mere 2.1 x2.3mm and could easily fit in a standard sizd pill or a large syringe.

If infected or swallowed, this sly CMOS could take photos of a person’s internal organs and change the way medical professional look at the human body.

As the world’s firts 1/18″ sensor, the OV6920 opens up a ton of possilbilities for digital imaging. Pencil’s with bulit in cameras, anyone?
